Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, David McCurdy graduated from the University of Illinois with B.A. and J.D. degrees. David came to Cadillac, Michigan in 1974 to practice law with Donald C. Samardich, who is now Of Counsel for McCurdy & Wotila. David's areas of primary practice are estate planning, trust administration, probate, business and corporate, real estate and municipal law. Martindale-Hubbell consistently awards David McCurdy an "A" rating. David is the City Attorney for the City of Cadillac and volunteers for the State Bar of Michigan as a hearing panelist for the Attorney Discipline Board. Married with three children, David enjoys tennis, golf, skiing, canoeing and backpacking. He is involved with the community as a volunteer for many endeavors and has served on the boards of many community organizations. He currently serves as a member of the School Board for the Cadillac Area Public Schools, and as a Director of Fifth Third Bank of Northern Michigan.
